Gerrards Cross

The Octopus Haircut

It sounds strange, but the Octopus Haircut is a brand new, versatile hairstyle based on the shape of the long tentacled sea creature!  It includes rounded and voluminous layers on the crown like the head of an octopus, with softer, longer layers at the base, mirroring the tentacles.

The look has evolved from this year’s popular retro classic styles.  It has the texture and edge of the ’70s Shag hair cut, and the tousled rebellious styling of the fashionable Wolf Cut.  This uber-cool new style is certainly making waves in the hairdressing world, and the good news is that works well on almost all hair types, so why not give it a try?  Book an appointment at our Uxbridge salon for one of hottest looks of 2022!

Golden Hour Hair Colours

Embrace the golden autumn sunshine with one of the most popular hair colour trends this season.  Beautiful golden blonde balayage is always a great choice, with caramel and honey hair colours looking stunning when woven through either naturally blonde or darker hair.   Some fashion commentators are calling this trend Tweed Hair Colour, as it mirrors the interwoven light and dark shades of the famous fabric.

Book a consultation with one of our hair colour technicians and we can find exactly the right shade of golden blonde to flatter your skin tone.   We will discuss with you the look you want to achieve and the best techniques to use.  We love this beautiful golden balayage created by Michelle.

Autumnal Red Hair Colours

As the leaves on the trees display their beautiful autumnal russet shades, why not follow suit with your hair?   Red hair colours remain one of the most popular shades of the past year with celebrities including Gigi Hadid and Zendaya embracing the trend.

Whether you want a juicy cherry red hair colour, neon tangerine or spiced cinnamon shade, the expert Wella hair colourists at our Uxbridge salon can create a bespoke red hair colour that will work with your personal style.   It doesn’t have to be a drastic change to really warm up your tired summer hair colour.

70s Waves and Natural Hair Colours

The 70s hair revival looks here to stay this autumn.  Think Farrah Fawcett flicks and and fluffy waves.  Natural looking blonde hair colours are also a popular look, like this beautiful warm honey blonde we created in the salon.

The Wolf Cut

This striking hair cut is set to remain fiendishly cool into the autumn.  It first exploded onto the hair scene in 2021, with its wild layers and fabulous texture used to create an edgy look which quickly rose in popularity.

This edgy hairstyle has rough, shaggy layers on top, which are shorter at the temples to create a modern classic cut.  Billie Eilish is amongst the latest celebrities to embrace the style.
